You're not so impotent, a prayer can stop a war
A few days ago on twitter I read the post of a person who affirmed (because it was an affirmation and not a doubt or a question) that she was astonished of seeing some people thinking of changing the sorts of a war with a few words of prayer and I, knowing and teaching the scientific prayer (meaning and methods), knowing its sense and also praying without ceasing (by using the scientific prayer of the bible for an intentional and conscious use for the benefit of myself and others) stopped to observe that statement and to reflect, and now I give you some points to allow you to reflect on prayer either if you pray or not because the point is not just the act of prayer but the concept that you hold of it because that tells you a lot about who you are (that's the concept that you hold of yourselves) and I'm going to explain it.
It's easy that the person of that tweet didn't have the idea of her (infinite) power which lays in her nature of spiritual incarnated being and then she has underestimated herself because that person affirmed it by her words (words are the mirror of your thoughts and those thoughts come from the nature of your inner state). It's always the ideal that you embody to make you think and in consequence to speak and the words you use are the proof of what you are: what you think of yourselves and then of others and of the world. But in that statement of impotence (expressed in a tweet) that person has also implicitly expressed the lack of knowledge about the human soul and also of not believing in a superior entity that could have many names (god or creator or other). The nature of the thinking of any person is known only to the person and then we cannot understand exactly the inner position of that person but the result that came out it's that of a person who has defined herself as impotent as a human being in front of a war and without useful tools to face it, when instead the human being is spirit that becomes flesh (as I wrote above), the entire creation!
Those who know their own power and believe it as totally real have another kind of approach: they mind themselves and what within themselves they can do by using the scientific prayer to modify what they 'see' on the outside but there are many shades in the middle. Because there're also those who believe in an external entity, a god/creator, who could intervene, maybe from the upper skies, and even if they never saw him or aren't sure of it they entrust it in prayer, usually a prayer of petition and supplication which is not the scientific one, but anyway they use it and in using it they obtain more than those who feel completely powerless because in every case consciousness hears and never ceases to do it in every human being then everyone is granted in their state of being.
The biblical prayer is not a supplication and the bible is clear in inviting the human being not to pray bowing in supplication because that is contrary to the divine dignity which is within everyone but it's easy that people don't believe it. Many don't believe in their identity of being spiritual beings who live a physical experience (one of flesh) and that occurs for various situations tied to the level of awareness of people. For some it'd be a great responsibility that they couldn't stand. In some cases the search for a scapegoat or the blame for an adverse or cruel destiny, in some other cases even the condemnation, for them are simpler and more tolerable than the responsibility of themselves as creators of their circumstances and then of their infinite power as the only causes and solutions of their circumstances, but that aknowledgment needs infinite courage and a constant work of commitment to themselves and to the change of themselves. As it's written in the bible: only the knowledge of self brings wisdom but in some cases it scares and then for many the better feeling is the impotence which allows in overcoming that enormous responsibility and infinite power.
Yet you're not so impotent, much less insignificant not even in front of a war and it doesn't matter who conducts it, how many they are, where they are and the weapons they have! What you should do to not let them intimidate you (in all circumstances) is to understand who you are and where you come from, that means to investigate on human existence and the human nature. You've been told that you are 'in the image and likeness' of he who created you, which is the same power who created the entire world and sustains it, and that could be a good point to start your journey to discover your origins. You could even arrive to confirm that you don't descend from the monkeys. The bible gives you many signs for your (self)discovery and to arrive at the comprehension of your inner power because it's the human autobiography written by men from inner revelation and it tells you that you're gods, 'all of you', and all children of the Most High. Then your word counts because it comes out of your consciousness which is the spirit that has entered your body and it's become flesh, then a few of your words can bring peace and can stop a war!
There are experiments conducted years ago that show how people gathered in prayer have positively influenced the peace both in territories without conflicts and territories in which there were wars but people have to continue in their inner conduct of peace in order to prolong those effects, a few minutes sporadically are not enough and you can prove it to yourselves if in your own lives you commit yourselves to peace: from your own personal relations of every kind to your way of seeing the world and interpreting it. Take some time every day to meditate on your lives and as much as you can abstain from judging other people because peace comes from within every human being and then it's reflected on the outside and that's the only way to create it.
“And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,” (Exodus 31:3)
